Wade completed a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education degree, with a major in Athletic Therapy, from Acadia University. He continued his studies at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, graduating with a Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine in 2002. An active member of the Ontario and Canadian Chiropractic Associations, Wade is the Clinic Director and Owner of Degen’s Health Group. Wade and his health care team offer a truly multidisciplinary clinic, providing a variety of therapeutic techniques with an emphasis on sports injuries, chiropractic manipulation of the spine and extremities, soft tissue treatment and modalities, as well as rehabilitative exercises.
Tanja graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1993. She is registered with the Acupuncture Council of Ontario, and is a member of both the Ontario and Canadian Chiropractic Associations. She is an avid runner, competing in the Boston marathon, and shares her knowledge on injury prevention and biomechanics with the Running Room training groups in the Beach. Her experience has been in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of neuromusculoskeletal disorders and sports injuries, most commonly back and neck pain, headaches, sciatica and muscle, tendon and ligament repetitive strain injuries. She also uses acupuncture to restore physiological balance to the nervous system, enhancing the body's ability to heal itself.
Linda is an RMT who was born and raised in the Beach. Linda is experienced in treating all ranges of clients in different stages of healing. An avid runner for many years, Linda has worked with running groups of all levels and has seen firsthand how effective massage therapy can be in maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. Linda joined Degen's Health Group in 2015. She is excited to be working with the team, practising patient-centred care that focuses on each individual's health needs and goals.
Lynne has been working as a RMT at Degen’s Health Group since 2005. She is a graduate of the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy. Lynne works primarily with runners and other athletes to help them achieve their goals, as well as with weekend warriors. Lynne also provides relaxation treatments for the exhausted and stressed. Lynne is trained in Swedish massage techniques and has taken specialty courses in hot stone massage, indie head massage, visceral massage and the benefits of massage for depression, anxiety and sleep.
Brad has been an RMT at Degen’s Health Group since 2007. Having graduated from CDI College, Brad trained in Swedish techniques, joint mobilization and other advanced techniques. Since graduating he has continued to train in sports massage, deep tissue massage and myofascial integration. Brad takes care to evaluate and assess each individual’s needs and to determine an effective treatment plan. Treating the individual layers of soft tissue, and at varying depths, enables Brad to provide maximum benefits to his clients by manually cleansing circulatory pathways, reducing muscular imbalance, and improving the mind/body connection.
Christina is a licensed and certified Naturopathic Doctor. She completed four years of post-graduate medical education at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), following an undergraduate degree in psychology. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) and the Association for the Advancement of Restorative Medicine (AARM). Christina has a generalized family practice with a special interest in thyroid health, digestion, weight management, women’s health, stress management, mental health, skin conditions, fertility, autoimmune disease, detoxification and biotherapeutic drainage. Christina’s goal is to help clients restore health and balance to their lives through education in personalized diet and lifestyle counseling. She also uses acupuncture, botanical medicine, homeopathy, and nutraceuticals to help people achieve and maintain optimal health.
